 | Earlier in the year Bispham Juniors FF FC folded from the league. At the January secretaries' meeting a note was handed out informing all clubs that no BJ players could play for new teams until March 1st and only then with the permission of the committee. Division 2 side FC Excelsior chose to ignore this advice and fielded a BJ player in their 4-1 Division 2 Cup win on February 1st against North West Kitchens FC. They then deliberately falsified the team sheet to try and hide the deception. After going through the proper process the BFSFA committee have eliminated FC Excelsior, one of the favourites, from this season's competition and re-instated North West Kitchens FC into the quarter-finals. Respect the BFSFA and keep it honest. |
