BFSFA : FC Matrix resign from the league |
|
 | Last season FC Matrix won the Division 3B title by six points and were elevated straight into Division 1 but the team officially folded this week. A reluctance to pay LFA fines was the reason provided by the committee. The Division 1 table has been amended on the Sister Site to reflect this news. |

BFSFA : Lancashire Sunday Trophy semi-final (Wednesday March 3rd 2010) |
|
 | Back in late August approximately 146 sides across the whole of Lancashire set out in the Sunday Trophy. As we go into March we're now down to only three. Preston side Lostock Hall FC have already reached the final which will take place at the County Ground in Leyland on the evening of Friday March 26th. Facing them will be either the Devonshire Arms FC or Quilligans FC from the BFSFA. The two Premier Division sides meet each other in a much anticipated clash on Wednesday night under floodlights at the ground of AFC Blackpool. Kick off time according to the LFA website is 19:30 (To be confirmed). Don't miss it. |
