 | Today sees the final day of the 2007/08 season. Three games left to play, three spaces still left on the 'fyldesport.com honours board' and three teams going all out for a win. At Boundary Park Poulton SFC need to beat Hydronics FC if they're to finish runners up to Quilligans FC in the Prem and Fleetwood Car Centre FC need a win against Mythop Leisure FC if they're to finish second in Division 2B. Out in the country Ward Heating FC require all three points from their away match against Great Eccleston FC if they're to win the Division 2A title. Make the most of your last opportunity to see Sunday football this season. Get out in the warm sunshine.

 | At Bloomfield Road, the home of Blackpool FC, watching the 41st Gledhill Cup final between holders Quilligans FC and fellow Premier Division side Hydronics FC. Quilligans were looking to lift the trophy for the fourth season in a row. Could they manage it?

BFSFA Results 2007/08: Result - Tuesday May 6th 2008. |
|
 | One important result tonight from Division 2B where the Fleetwood Car Centre FC extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to sixteen as they narrowly beat second placed Saddle FC 2-1 in an entertaining and hard fought close game in the Spring sunshine. The Car Centre still have to beat Brannigans on Thursday evening and Mythop Leisure on Sunday if they're to finish second ahead of the Saddle. The all important league table has been updated on the sister site. The tables on fyldesport.com will not be updated for a week or so due to holiday commitments. |

Sportspy: Gledhill Cup Final Preview - 2007/08 Season. |

| Thursday evening (May 8th) sees the 41st Gledhill Cup final taking place at Blackpool FC's Bloomfield Road ground. Quilligans FC take on fellow Premier Division side Hydronics FC looking to win the famous trophy for the fourth season in succession. We look forward to the final as well as review this season's competition. Pictures included. |
